Artist Biography

Alejandro Mendiola is a Southern California based artist whose work explores light, shadow, and the resilience of the human spirit. Shaped by personal loss and growth, he turned to art as both refuge and transformation. Influenced by classical chiaroscuro and symbolic storytelling, his work reflects internal battles between angels and demons, faith and doubt, despair and hope. A devoted father and returning fine arts student, Mendiola creates as both legacy and healing practice, with the goal of becoming an art therapist serving others.
